Luba bolts were designed by one of New England’s super techs, professionally working exclusively on Volkswagens and Audis for over thirty-five years. Luba bolts allow you to lube outer Constant velocity joints (C/V) without dismantling the vehicle.

Directions of use:

With the car on the ground, back the center bolts off a quarter to a half of turn.

Raise the vehicle to a working height and remove the center bolt

Install Luba Bolt. Screw the mestersatz 3oz. tube (part # G000602) to the Luba Bolt.

For applications were the small end of the c/v boot has no clamp, make sure to slide a mini screwdriver between the boot and the axel on the small end of the boot to allow air to escape. Not doing so will cause the c/v to burp when removing the tool

Using needle-nose pliers, starting at end, roll tube of grease until you have use ¾ to all of the tube.

Remove tool and install new bolt, torque to specs plus a quarter turn.

Application:

Passat, two wheel and four motion

Audi, 80, 90, 100, 200, A4, A6 and A8, two wheels and quattro
